We took our store down for a week or two at the end of December and beginning of January. Our beloved Koda went home to be with the Lord, and we were in no mood to be reselling anything.

While we are still grieving, bills need to be paid. We got back to work, and here are the results of our sales from the month to this point.

I’m pretty sure that recently I talked about how I wasn’t going to start a second Youtube channel.  I spoke at length about how I didn’t want to manage separate channels as I had a hard enough time coming up with content consistently for one channel.  In this post, I’ll talk about why I had a change of heart and created a second Youtube channel.

Preparing for winter isn’t something I’d like to do right now. Far from it. Instead, I’d rather enjoy what’s left of the nice weather before the snow comes. History has taught me that unless I begin preparing now I’ll be in for more headaches as the seasons can abruptly change. In the next few weeks I will be completing the three tasks I believe to be most vital in preparing for winter.

My mom called me up and said her KitchenAid mixer was leaking oil. My first thought was that my mom has finally lost it. Certainly there wasn’t oil in a mixer such as this. Then, I remembered my mom makes me cookies. I don’t mess around when it comes to cookies. Let’s get this thing fixed.
