I like fixing cameras. Well, I like fixing a lot of things, but I especially enjoy repairing cameras. There’s something so uniquely rewarding about taking something that is discarded and repairing it to working condition. The patient in this case is an Olympus FE-230 with a bad lcd screen.

building a desk

Building a desk was high on my priority list this year. I wanted a dedicated work space for editing videos and writing my posts. While it’s convenient to have a laptop for working in different places, it’s also unproductive in the sense that you can’t get used to working in a dedicated space. By building a desk, I hoped to resolve that. It took a little longer than I thought it would, but we finished it.

Making Sense of the Bible is a very apt title for this book. Sometimes, we might forget that is the point of Scripture to begin with. It’s one thing to read the words, but what do they mean? And to be honest, since these words were written thousands of years ago, are they still applicable today? These are but a few of the questions presented in this book, and I would highly encourage you to give it a read.

building a desk and shelving unit

We wanted to build a desk and shelving unit. We needed a dedicated work space for office type work; mainly, for me to do my videos and blogging and for Bre to set up for her crafting, etc. When we first built our house, we needed storage right away so we built a very large cabinet. This also doubled as a divider between the kennel and the living area. And it was the perfect candidate to be replaced with a sleeker desk and shelving unit.
