Stash is another of my favorite investment brokerages. Last week, we talked about M1 Finance and the benefits of their platform. Even though I wholly endorse M1 Finance and use that brokerage, I also use Stash. In fact, I have accounts through several platforms. Sometimes, they’re just to try out the platform to see what options are available or to benefit from signup bonuses. That’s really why I got started with Stash – the signup bonus. Stash will give you $5 of free stock just for signing up for an account and depositing $5. Or, you can use this link and get $20 of free stock after your initial deposit.
What I Love About Stash
That initial signup bonus is what drew me to Stash, but I ended up staying with them because of their bonus features. Number one in my mind is the Stash Parties. Several times a week, Stash offers incremental amounts of free stocks just for logging on with your username and hitting a “claim” button on the Stash Party website. The amount that you’re given is directly related to how many people log on to the Party. Contrary to what you may be thinking, the more people that log on, the more you earn. This encourages people to share Stash and get more users to sign up, but you also benefit as well.
This feature is quite unique. While most brokerages offer signup bonuses of varying amounts, it’s unique to have a platform offer continual bonuses. Granted, these are small amounts, but they can definitely add up.
Stash offers the opportunity to invest in ETFs, individual stocks, and IPOs. The platform itself is designed for simplicity with beginning investors in mind. They break up ETFs and companies into sectors to help you research and invest in ideologies and projects that you believe in.
Stash also offers a bank account with a debit card that provides Stock-Back rewards for purchases. It’s like a cash back card but that incentive goes straight towards the purchase of stock. One of the biggest reasons that people choose not to invest early and often in the stock market is because they don’t prioritize saving. With the Stock-Back rewards, this hindrance is taken care of – automatically!
It’s important to keep in mind that Stash is not free, but I think that the benefits greatly outweigh the trivial monthly cost. Click the link below to get started investing with Stash!
These stash parties sound intriguing. I wish more people realize investments and the growth that can be achieved. Thank you for your article.

Yes! The number one key is time!! I wish someone would have taught me the power of compounding interest when I was younger. It makes so much sense now, but I have a lot of catching up to do. If I had just started investing earlier things would be soooo much easier.
